At the Deutsche WindGuard Wind Tunnel Centre, we calibrate and classify wind sensors and test rotor blade profiles and models. Our laboratory is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 and a founding member of MEASNET. With around 20,000 calibrations a year, we are a trusted partner to the entire wind industry.
The right wind tunnel for every measurement task
Anemometer calibration, icing tests and aeroacoustic profile measurements each place different demands on airflow, climate and measurement technology. That’s why we operate several specialised wind tunnels, from our acoustically optimised large wind tunnel to our Göttingen-type calibration tunnels. The result: reliable, reproducible data from a single source.
